How to remove tea stains from carpet

If you love drinking tea but you are kind of clumsy your carpet is most likely covered in tea stains. I have some tips for you and your stained carpet.

The first method

  1. A white cloth
  2. Club Soda

If you just spilled the tea on the carpet, get the white cloth and soak as much as possible of the spill. Then apply some club soda and blot with another clean cloth. Continue repeating the last step and applying club soda until the stain is removed.

The second method

  1. White Vinegar
  2. Liquid Soap
  3. A clean Sponge
  4. A white cloth

Add three drops of the liquid soap to a cup of white vinegar. Grab the sponge, soak it in it and dab on the stain. Do this until the stain is removed.

The third method

  1. Beer
  2. A white cloth

Apply a small amount of beer on the stained area and rub it in with a cloth. Repeat this step a couple of times until the stain is fully removed. Then rinse with water to remove the beer residue.

The fourth method

  1. Foam Shaving Cream
  2. A toothbrush
  3. Cold Water
  4. A clean cloth

Apply some foam shaving cream directly onto the stain. Rub it in with a toothbrush. Then rinse with cold water and soak up everything with a clean cloth. Do this until the stain is fully removed.

If the stain is on Oriental rugs or the carpet is a special material like silk do not attempt any of the methods written above. You should let a professional cleaning company take care of everything because you might actually cause greater damage and ruin your carpet or rug. Some materials are sensitive and should be cleaned only by experts with the right knowledge and equipment. You can call https://carpetcleaningmanchester.org/. They are a professional cleaning company (and I actually know the tips in this article from them).
