Dior, Givenchy, and Guerlain will produce free hand sanitizer
Some of my favorite brands – Christian Dior, Guerlain, and Givenchy announced that they will use their facilities to make hand sanitizer and provide it for free to the French authorities.
These luxury brands are owned by LVMH and due to the situation with the coronavirus, they announced that they will help with providing hand sanitizers because there is a risk of shortage.
Products containing hydroalcoholic gel – hand sanitizer, are starting production today, the 16th of March, 2020. It is said that they will continue making the sanitizer for as long as necessary.
As we have all heard one of the most important measures to stop the spread of the virus is handwashing. People went crazy and started buying hand sanitizers which lead to empty shelves and shortage.
That’s why these three luxury brands have decided to start producing it and help as much as possible.
One thing that is not sure is whether Dior, Givenchy, and Guerlain will completely put on hold making their perfumes and beauty products and focus on producing only hand sanitizer or if they will do it hand in hand with making their perfumes and beauty products.
