4 DIY face masks recipe using natural ingredients
Last week I showed you some of my favorite hair masks recipe that I use very often and I find work great with my hair. Another huge step of my routine is face masks. I have found that I prefer the DIY way not only with hair masks but with face masks as well. Just like anyone else out there, I have had my fair amount of problems with acne and skin irritation. One thing I learned about my skin over the years is that less is definitely more, therefore, I have reduced the number of chemicals I put on my face.
I prefer giving everything that my skin needs by using natural ingredients. Of course, I still use micellar water, moisturizer, cleanser, etc. but when it comes to masks – I always DIY them at home.
Fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients you have in your fridge are extremely beneficial to your skin. Here are some of my favorite masks.
Mask Number 1
This mask is very hydrating and it’s one of my favorites. I put plain yogurt on my face once a day usually but from time to time I mix things up and add half of an avocado and a little bit of honey.
Mask Number 2
- Olive Oil
This is an exfoliating mask, therefore, you shouldn’t do it too often. I simply mix sugar and olive oil together. The sugar exfoliates the skin while the olive oil hydrates it.
Mask Number 3
- Raw oats
This mask is all about exfoliating once again. Mix raw oats, honey, and banana. It is also amazing in relieving inflamed skin. Usually, I use this mask in the summer when I forgot to put sunscreen on.
Mask Number 4
- Baking Soda
- Turmeric Powder
This mask has turmeric powder which is one of the most amazing things you can put on your face. It helps blemishes, acne problems, pigmentation, discoloration, etc. It’s one of those magical ingredients that make a huge difference. Mash a banana, add some baking soda, and then add turmeric powder. Bananas are also packed with Vitamin A which is very good for the skin.
